The MATES Cafe Organization was established in 2003.  Through a strength based initiative, MATES Programs address many issues costing our communities dearly. The enormous social impact and emotional toll on families as well as the financial cost.

MATES are lowering the rising rates of Suicide, Family Violence, Depression, Relationship Breakdowns, Criminal Activity, Addictive and Dysfunctional Behavior, Stress, Violence, Low Self-Esteem, Lack of Direction and Focus.

MATES continue to reduce the alarming statistics of social dysfunction through:

• Face-to-face crisis support from our trained MATES facilitators online via Skype
• Provide MATES to be there for those in a time of need and therefore eliminate isolation
• State-of-art programs to help people overcome their emotional triggers
• Relationship support and programs to help bring people together​

The MATES Journey

Vision: MATES Cafe help people of all cultures and ethnicity overcome life challenges such as loneliness, relationship breakdown, anxiety, loss and grief by being there and helping them find new life direction.​​

Purpose: MATES Cafe supports people of all gender, culture, ethnicity and personal beliefs through life’s challenges such as relationship breakdown, depression, anxiety, loss and grief, bullying, loneliness and isolation.

Values: Integrity, Respect, Empathy, Passion, Connection, Empowerment and Contribution

Relationship breakdown creates the perception of isolation and the feelings of isolation can lead to family violence, depression and suicide. MATES Cafe 1/1 meetings for those in crisis, along with Mind Renaissance and our Emotional Reset Technique Program with Life Mastery support membership; help people out of isolation and empower their relationships to build stronger communities. MATES Cafe is bringing people together.

We are not reliant on government funding, nor should we be, as to make real change in our community and be truly self-sustainable is for us to work together and empower one another in being the change. MATES Initiatives established in 2003 provide a real answer to empowering your life and to help our communities lower the horrific rates of suicide, depression and relationship violence and create positive role-models for our community and our children.  ​
